WWE WrestleMania 34 Predictions(Blog Only)

If you read my NXT predictions, you would know that we weren’t able to do the predictions podcast like we wanted, so I’m not going to go into too much detail about that. There will be a audio review for Wrestlemania and NXT coming up on either Monday or Tuesday, so look out for that. A little note before I get into the predictions: This card is really long so I will only be going into detail for a few matches. With that said, Let’s get into the predictions.

WrestleMania 34 Predictions

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal(Formerly known as the Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal)

Prediction: Sasha Banks

The entire story of the battle royal has been built around Bayley and Sasha, so it only makes sense to have one of them win. If the Andre Battle Royal has proven anything, is that the winner of this Battle Royal will not get a significant boost or anything like that.

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Prediction: Matt Hardy

There is no clear winner or story going into this battle royal, so I will go with Matt Hardy. My original prediction was to give it to a former winner, so that would be either Mojo or Corbin, but since they are giving Matt a lot of TV time recently, I will go with him.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Cedric Alexander vs. Mustafa Ali

Prediction: Cedric Alexander

I have no doubt that this match will be entertaining, but I don’t watch 205Live that often, so I don’t really care who wins. So with that said, I’ll go with Cedric Alexander. He had the most hype coming out of the CWC, and he was feuding with Enzo before he got fired. So it just makes sense.

RAW Tag Team Championship
The Bar(Sheamus & Cesaro)(c) vs. Braun Strowman & TBD

Prediction: Braun Strowman & TBD

It’s kind of obvious that Braun and his partner are winning this match. Sheamus and Cesaro have been treading water as of late, so I feel the RAW tag team division needs a shakeup. As far as who Braun’s partner will be, I will have to go with either a returning James Ellsworths or Samoa Joe.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Usos(c) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers(Harper & Rowan)

Prediction: The Bludgeon Brothers

They have been putting Harper and Rowan over as complete badasses as of late. So I fully expect them to walk out with the titles. I will say that I’m looking forward to this match. All three teams work very well together. It should be fun.

WWE United States Championship
Randy Orton(c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev

Prediction: Randy Orton

This match is kind of tough to predict. They added Rusev very late in the build. I guess they added him because of how over he is. I’m predicting a quite a few title changes, so for that reason I’m picking Randy Orton to retain.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
The Miz(c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

Prediction: Seth Rollins

For me this match is a toss up between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. I think the Miz may be taking some time off for a little bit to be with his wife and newborn. So I think they will have Rollins pick up the win, then him and Finn will probably continue feuding for a few months.

Mixed Tag Team Match
Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H

Prediction: Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle

The quality of this match will all depend on how well Kurt and Triple H still work together. If Stephanie gets any offense on Ronda, they will be making a huge mistake. They should keep Steph away from Ronda the entire match, and let Ronda get her work in with Triple H. Then at the end of the match, let Ronda finally get her hands on Stephanie, and let her “break” Stephanies arm for the win.

Tag Team Match
Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

Prediction: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

I went back and forth on this prediction, and I settled on Kevin & Sami winning via a Shane McMahon heel turn. I’m probably wrong. This may just end up being a clean win for Daniel & Shane, but I can see Shane turning on Daniel, and then having them feud for the next few months battling over control of Smackdown Live.

RAW Women’s Championship
Alexa Bliss(c) vs. Nia Jax

Prediction: Nia Jax

They based this feud around fat shaming, so there is no way the bully would go over… right? If Alexa Bliss wins, this would be almost as bad as when Triple H went over Booker T at Wrestlemania.

Smackdown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair(c) vs. Asuka

Prediction: Asuka

This is probably one of the most hyped women’s matches of all time, so Asuka & Charlotte have a lot to live up to. Now, the big question mark going into this match is whether Carmella will cash in her MITB contract. I think Asuka will pick up the win, they will tease a cash-in by Carmella, but it will get interrupted by the defeated Charlotte. I think Carmella will end up getting moved over to Raw during the superstar shakeup, and she will cash in on the RAW womens title. With that said, I’m really looking forward to this match. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

WWE Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar(c) vs. Roman Reigns

Prediction: Roman Reigns

Roman is going to win. That’s all I have to say about this match. NEXT!

WWE Championship
AJ Styles(c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Prediction: Shinsuke Nakamura

This is the match that all the internet and diehard wrestling fans wanted, and WWE is giving it to us. So, thank you WWE. Honestly, what can you say about this matchup that hasn’t already been said. They are promoting this match as the “Dream Match” and despite them wrestling previously in New Japan, it’s true. This is a dream match. I original had AJ Style penciled in as the winner of this match, but Nakamura is in desperate need of a signature win in the WWE. AJ Styles is so over at this point, that he can take the loss without his credibility taking a hit. Though, no matter who wins, it should be a phenomenal match worthy of Wrestlemania spotlight.

Unannounced Match
John Cena vs. The Undertaker

Prediction: The Undertaker

I saved this one for last because it hasn’t even been confirmed that it’s taking place. If it does happen, I’m picking Undertaker.
